The computer is one of my favourite as you can guess, so I do not write about this more.

Music

listening

The best singer in the world in my opinion is Bobby McFerrin.

Very good vocal groups are the Take 6, the New York Voices, the Manhattan Transfer and the Rockapella.

Among jazz groups my favourite is Spyro Gyra.

making

I studied opera singing for 10 years, arias and songs. Probably I will not become like Luciano Pavarotti or Placido Domingo but I'm also a tenor. My most memorable experience was that I played the role of the shinto priest in Puccini's Madam Butterfly with a japanese opera group on a japanese stage. A few pictures of this are here. Another great experience was a small part in Joshep Turrin: The Scarecrow which we presented at Arizona State University. Nowdays I do not have many opportunities to sing:( But there are a few videos of me. Some more here.

I was a member of Csili Chamber choir for 5 years and a member of Vivace Chamber choir of Lenti for 1 year.

I studied to play the piano fro 6 years. Also I can reasonably play on guitar, accordion, saxophone, bouzuki.

I have a Roland SC-88Pro sound-module, with a Fatar 880 keyboard and a Casio digital saxophone.

I collect musical instruments and I'm trying to play on them. For example I also have a arabic/turkish instrument: saz and a bouzuki, too.

Dance

My favourite dances are greek, bulgarian and south-slavic folk dances, which I dance in dancehouses.

Sport

In highshool and in university I played basketball.

Recently I prefer badminton, I used attend amature competitions, too.

I also ride my bike often and in the winter I go skating, if I can.

A very special "sport" is juggling. I can do many tricks with 3 balls, a few with 4 and I can handle 5 balls for a short time.

My wife was the secretary general for the Hungarian Sports Federation for Disabled for 2 years. Then I got close to these sportsman. I really admire there fantastic achievements. I attended the Paralympics in Barcelona us a supporting fan. There the Hungarians won 4 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals. In the Sydney Paralympics they won 4 gold, 5 silver and 14 bronze medals.

Travelling

I love to travel. So far I have been to the following countries:

Cooking

I love to cook as well. I prefer to cook interesting dishes, I rearly make the same thing twice. My favourites are a Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Indian foods, but I also like French, Italian, Spanish, Mexican, Greek, Turkish and Arabic food.

I also collect cookbooks. I would like to have cookbooks of many different nations, and it is important that they should be written in a language which I can understand: Hungarian, English, Japanese or Russian. Rigth now I have 74 books.
